Description:
SAE flange check valve is a spring loaded check valve with SAE adapter at both ends. SAE flange check valve is made to be suitable for SAE 3000 (ISO 6162-1) and SAE 6000 (ISO 6162-2) standards. Like other types of check valves, it is used to allow fluids to flow in a single direction and prevent back flow. Typically, MHA SAE flange check valves requires at least 2 Bars of working pressure as a cracking pressure to push the poppet so that the fluids can flow through the valve.. The available working pressure is 210 BAR and 420 BAR. MHA SAE flange check valves are only available in steel material. Since SAE adapter are connected on both ends of the check valve, it requires SAE flange for system connection. |

Product Information of SAE Flange Check Valves
1. Specifications:
SAE flange check valve is a check valve with SAE-adapter at both end. This check valve is made to complement SAE 3000# (ISO 6162-1) and SAE 6000# (ISO 6162-2). It is used to allow fluids to flow in a single direction, and prevent the return of fluids. There is a directional arrow markings on the check valve to show the inlet and outlet. The installation must be correct so that the fluids can flow into the inlet, push the poppet and flow out from outlet. For MHA SAE flange check valve, it will require a minimum of 2 Bars cracking pressure to push the poppet, so that fluids can flow through. This type of check valve has 1 check valve body, 2 o-ring and 2 SAE holding plates. For more details, please refer to MHA Check Valve. |
2. Material:
The available material for SAE flange check valve is Steel (28p8) and Stainless Steel (44p8). The material combination code is representing the material for body and adapters, ball and stem, ball seat, and sealing on stem and adapters. For more material details, please refer to MHA Catalogue.

3. Size Range & Pressure Rating:
The available sizes are range from 1/2" to 2" and working pressure is available in 210 Bars and 420 Bars.

4. Connection Type:
The SAE flange check valve connection is made in accordance to ISO 6162-1 and ISO 6162-2. Thus, SAE flange are needed to connect to both ends of the check valve. Typically, there are four types of connection for SAE flange: S/W (Socket Weld), B/W (Butt Weld), NPT (National Pipe Thread), and BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel).
