Description:
ANSI 150# SS316 Flange End Y-Strainer is a flange type filtration device that used to collect solids from fluids. It is to protect the pipeline equipment from any harmful contamination. It is design and manufacture according to ANSI B16.34. ANSI 150# Flange End Y-Strainer's name is derived from its y-shaped form with both end connections flange ends. Y-Strainers have low resistance to fluid passage or straight passage which in turn results to low pressure loss. This is why y-strainers are being utilized for applications where only small amounts of solid particulates are expected to be drained and frequent clean out would not be necessary. |
